Frequently Asked
Questions

Some of the most often asked questions from our clients.

Can I make my own flight arrangements?

Yes. You are more than welcome to make your own flight arrangements, if you wish. We are able to provide you with a “Land Only” tour cost, which excludes the international flights and stopovers.

You just need to let us know at the time of enquiry, and we can provide you with revised pricing.

I have special dietary requirements – can these be catered for?

Most definitely. We will do our utmost to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know your requirements and we will pass on the details to all of the relevant suppliers.

Is advice on travel insurance offered, and can we purchase a policy through your company?

We strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased when travelling on any of our tours. We are able to offer a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy with Allianz and information and pricing will be advised at the time of booking. If purchasing a policy through your own provider, you need to ensure you read the fine print of your policy carefully, and carry a copy of your policy with you while on tour. At a minimum, you should be covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation.

What is the role of our tour leader?

Our Tour Leaders play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless execution of your tour, handling travel reservations, and ensuring the overall itinerary runs smoothly. They serve as coordinators for the schedule, keeping you well-informed about the daily plan and offering suggestions for leisure activities. It’s crucial to understand that our Tour Leaders differ from traditional tour guides; their primary focus is on logistical support and fostering a social atmosphere. We enlist dedicated local tour guides at each destination to provide in-depth insights and knowledge.

I am travelling by myself, do I have to pay extra?

Many of our customers travel by themselves and we usually have a number of single people on each tour. Some wish to pay the single supplement so that they have their own rooms, but many others would like to share for companionship and to keep the costs down. If you would like to share, then we will do our best to match you up with someone.

Can I stay longer after a tour finishes?

Absolutely you can. We have a number of our travellers who travel on independently after a tour concludes and return home later. We are also able to assist with additional transportation, tour or accommodation requirements if you would like us to.

The tour planning and coverage has been very thorough taking in the different locations and sights with interesting comparisons.

The size and composition of the tour party from tour leaders Annie, tour guides, and the travellers was very good. All about the same age and compatibility amongst the tour party was excellent.
