Our journey from Vienna to Amsterdam is well underway, and already the group has enjoyed a wonderful mix of culture, history and adventure.
For many, the journey began with a stopover in Hong Kong. With a free day to explore, travellers made the most of the city's excellent public transport network, hopping aboard the famous Star Ferry, taking local buses and wandering through Stanley Market.
"Some of the joy of having free time is being adventurous and allowing adventures to unfold," says Linzi.
The Star Ferry proved a particular favourite, offering spectacular views of Hong Kong's skyline for little more than the cost of a cup of coffee.
Arriving in Vienna, we were greeted with beautiful weather and the opportunity to begin sampling local specialties, including plenty of apple strudel.
Vienna has impressed everyone with its elegance, history and cultural richness. One of the highlights was an evening at Schönbrunn Palace, where we enjoyed a performance by opera singers and classical musicians in a magnificent setting.
During a free afternoon, some of the group discovered another unexpected treasure, the Austrian National Library. Filled with beautiful craftsmanship and centuries of history, it quickly became one of those hidden gems travellers love to stumble upon.
As we continue our journey, there is a growing sense of excitement about what lies ahead. New friendships are forming, adventures are unfolding, and Europe is already proving to be every bit as memorable as we'd hoped.
