Frequently Asked Questions
Where Do We Meet The Tour Leader And Other Travellers
The Tour Leader will meet the group at Auckland Airport check-in and travel with the group, returning back to Auckland. For the Australian tours, as we depart NZ from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, the tour leader will leave from any one of these airports and will meet each plane in the relevant Australian airport.
What Is The Role Of Our Tour Leader?
Our Tour Leaders are there to ensure that you are looked after on tour and that the tour proceeds as it should, relieving you of any concerns about your travel reservations etc. They will also assist with ideas for things to do in your free time, coordinate the schedule for the tour, keep you informed as to what the daily plan is and of course be a social coordinator. Note our Tour Leaders are not the tour guides and in fact we don’t want them to be! We have local tour guides for each destination we visit.
I Am Travelling By Myself, Do I Have To Pay Extra?
Many of our customers travel by themselves and we usually have a number of single people on each tour. Some wish to pay the single supplement so that they have their own rooms, but many others would like to share for companionship and to keep the costs down. If you would like to share, then we will do our best to match you up with someone.
How Many Travellers Are On Each Tour?
This depends on the destination of the tour, with our average touring party size around 22 tour members. For each
tour there is always plenty of room on coaches and a seat rotation policy will be used.
Where Do The Tours Stay?
Where ever possible we stay in 4 star or better hotels that are centrally located within walking distance of the areas
Can I Stay Longer After A Tour Finishes?
Absolutely you can. We have a number of our travellers who travel on independently after a tour concludes and return home later. We are also able to assist with additional transportation, tour or accommodation requirements if you would like us to.
