Every City Has A Heartbeat

Feel The Pulse Of South America

It might begin with a glass of wine. A deep ruby Malbec is poured - you take a sip; rich, bold, unmistakably Argentine. The Andes glow on the horizon as glasses are raised, conversations flow, and in that moment, reminding you how good life can be. South America has a way of revealing itself like that—slowly, in moments that seem almost too good to be true.

One moment, you’re wandering the colourful streets of Santa Teresa; the next, you’re high above Rio de Janeiro at Christ the Redeemer, gazing over a city alive with energy. Waves lap against Copacabana Beach, music spills into the streets, and life pulses everywhere you look.

Then nature commands attention, and at Iguazú Falls, you hear the roar before you see it. But nothing prepares you for the mist rising through the jungle, unveiling the largest waterfall system on Earth, around  257 individual cascades tumbling endlessly over cliffs, rainbows dancing in their spray. And it is powerful, captivating, and unforgettable.

Yet South America is just as much about the small moments. Tango music echoing through the streets of Buenos Aires at night. Laughing together as you fold your first empanadas at the Argentine Experience. Testing your skills among real cowboys at a traditional Gaucho ranch.

Or simply sharing a quiet Malbec with a new friend after a day well spent.

As you journey on, the landscapes change in ways you never imagined. The Skorpios Cruise in Chilean Patagonia is an optional highlight. It offers a rare glimpse into remote fjords. Marvel at the towering blue walls of the San Rafael Glacier. Colossal icebergs drift silently through the water. Discover the hidden fjords of Quitralco, fringed with rainforest and steaming hot springs. Incredibly, these glaciers rise from one of the world's largest freshwater ice reserves — rivalled only by Antarctica and Greenland. Even so, they are retreating, it is an extraordinary opportunity to witness a landscape few will ever see.

Why not explore Latin America the way it is meant to be seen on our Cities of South America Tour.

The size and composition of the tour party from tour leaders Annie, tour guides, and the travellers was very good. All about the same age and compatibility amongst the tour party was excellent.
