Our tour continues with a visit to the capital Suva with an overnight stay and then up through the seldom travelled Kings Road to Rakiraki where we experience a touch of the Colonial times. The next day we travel down to Nadi for the highlight – a four night Captain Cook Cruise which takes you on a magical trip through the exquisite Yasawa Islands. You cruise on the “M V Reef Endeavour” – a small cruise ship with only 65 cabins. Enjoying the unique Fijian service and hospitality offered on board – this will be an experience you will not forget. At the end of the cruise, we spend the last of our time at Denarau near Nadi, where we overnight at a resort hotel. The next day we bid our farewell to the friendly Fiji Isles and fly home.

“Everything is taken care of ensuring a relaxed holiday. Way to go for us “older” people. Every day is different with no pressures.

I used to think that knowing before a holiday exactly the route and places to stay and see would spoil the anticipation. Not so! We took one day at a time and found it exciting. We appreciated the not too early starts and finish each day and the spare time included.

As this was our first tour we enjoyed the company of the group. Difficult to select a highlight. There was so much of interest. I did enjoy the Cataract Gorge and our walks up there and Mt Wellington. But Woolnorth and Seahorse World were fantastic too!”

“I would just say if it’s a “Maher Tour” don’t hesitate”
– Sonia Wall

“A very comfortable trip which encompassed all Tasmania has to offer. 17 of us on a 46 seater coach was great!”
Carolyn Evans

“Excellent organisation from first marking booking. Clear directions for meeting up with the group and a great ticket package. Would highly recommend Maher as a high quality tour company.”
– Lois Rowe

We recently had the pleasure of a couple of Maher Tours and we are happy to recommend that organisation to everyone who enjoys travel.

Our first tour was a fortnight in Tasmania. We came across this by chance in a magazine and it sounded like a good one so we joined that tour. It was better than expected – it was excellent! One comment was what would you do for two weeks in Tasmania. Well in that time we saw lots of places that we would never have found by ourselves, (we had self-driven previously) and every day was a highlight.

After the Tasmanian experience we had no hesitation in joining a month long tour of Canada and New England in the Autumn. Again very enjoyable. The “Fall Colours” were amazing, the places where we stayed were extremely interesting.

Both tours were very well organised, first class accommodation, varied and beautiful places to visit, and with very enjoyable company.

We had the added pleasure on both tours of having part of the Maher Family Company as tour leaders. This added an extra dimension of personal attention and family atmosphere to the tours, which made the tours all the more enjoyable.

We judge the experiences that we had as first class. We are happy to recommend Maher Tours, in fact we are now looking forward to our next Maher Tour. – Happy Traveller
